General Rules
1. NO COOLERS ALLOWED. Food and Beverages will be available on the fairgrounds.
2. The Scotland County Fair Board will not assume responsibility for any lost, stolen or damaged property.
Open Cattle Show Rules
Weigh-in and Entry time will be from 2-3p.m. July 8, 2011
Show Time will begin at 4 p.m.
Entry Fees (Out of County): $20/head
In County Entry Fees: $10/head
1. All Heifer classes will be determined by breed and age.
2. All Steer classes will be divided by weight.
3. All exhibitors wishing to show their heifers in a breed class must present registration papers upon registering their animal. If registration papers are not presented, the animal will be entered into the Croosbred Class
4. Open to ALL ages
5. Show management reserves the right to interpret all rules and make any decision in the best interest of the event.

Mud Bogg Rules

· Must be 16 years old, or parent release with parent present to drive
· Must wear helmet and seatbelt
· All batteries and fuel cells must be securely fastened
· Must have a solid hitch or clevis on rear of vehicle
· Clean out all trash out of bed
· Late entry fee of $10 per class, if can get truck checked and entered in time
· If you scratch a class before it has run, you may receive your entry fee back, no refund if class has started
· Riders allowed in the 3 stock classes only, must have helmet and seatbelt
· You will be on a 2 min time clock when you have been called to stage, failure to make it on time will result in DQ
· If you leave the pit during the run you will be DQ
· If you move in the pit before staff can measure distance you will be DQ
· JUDGES DECISIONS ARE FINAL

· Full body
· Flat beds ok
· No cutting or gutting
· Must have all windows and dash
· Soft tops and open tops must have roll cage
· Factory style suspension and lift ok
· Factory 4x4 frame, must match body
· Factory wheel base in stock location
· Exhaust must go behind cab/ no muffler needed
· Brakes and reverse must work
Engine:
· Stock motor for vehicle
· No internal work (if tech hears a lope in cam, jump to super stock)
· Engine and radiator in stock location
· No fuel injection unless came stock
· Stock fuel pump
· No nitrous, alcohol, race fuel, blowers, super chargers
· No stall
· 2 of 4 bolt-on allowed
- Headers
- Carb
- Ignition (plugs & wires ok)
- Intake
Tires:
· 35” and smaller unaltered DOT tires
· No chains or duals unless stock
Modified Stock
